Norman McNamara’s Blog and New Dementia Facebook Group

Norman McNamara was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at 50.

Since first diagnosed with Dementia, Norman has spent much of his time sharing his story with others. Because of his dedication to awareness he has enlightened many of us, caregivers and loved ones alike, about the feelings and emotions that can haunt someone with Alzheimer’s or Dementia.

Already a published author, Norm has been kind and generous enough to share his deepest feelings, happy and sad, through numerous postings of prose on Facebook. Now, Norm creates and shares a weekly video blog too.

In early December Norm’s blog announced a brand new Facebook Group “Dementia Aware” for others suffering from Dementia or their caregivers and loved ones.

And not many weeks later, the members of this new group number into the thousands. Friends and family eager to share and comfort all in the Dementia family.
